Let's Move Brooklyn program aims to get the borough in shape

BROOKLYN - A new initiative aimed at getting Brooklyn residents in shape was launched at Borough Hall this morning. Let's Move Brooklyn is affiliated with Michelle Obama's nationwide Let's Move program. At the summit today, community organizations and city officials who are trying to combat the obesity epidemic gathered to brainstorm on ways to increase health awareness. Let's Move Brooklyn will get moving on Aug. 19, when organizers host a community walk to the Brooklyn Bridge.
