Light bulb-eating record holder accused in BK bank robberies

BROOKLYN - A man known for eating light bulbs is suspected in a string of Brooklyn bank robberies.Police say they arrested 22-year-old Robert Williams for six Brooklyn bank thefts, but he could be connected to five more. Authorities arrested Williams yesterday at the Apple Bank on Kings Highway. They say bank employees recognized him from a robbery there last week and called the police. Police say Williams is responsible for a string of bank robberies along Kings Highway last Friday. A video of Williams on recordsetter.com shows that he holds the site's record for eating a light bulb the fastest, at 33.8 seconds.
