BROOKLYN - The Lincoln High School football field has been deemed unplayable for the playoffs due to damage caused by Hurricane Sandy.

The team will instead begin its quest to repeat as city champions by playing at Lafayette High School in neighboring Bensonhurst.

The Coney Island school opened its new turf just two years ago, giving them one of the best home field advantages in the city. They're 19-1 at home this season.
