LIU-Brooklyn wins third straight NEC championship

LIU-Brooklyn became the first team in NEC history to win three consecutive conference championships in their blowout victory Tuesday night against Mount St. Mary's, 91-70.

BROOKLYN - LIU-Brooklyn became the first team in NEC history to win three consecutive conference championships in their blowout victory Tuesday night against Mount St. Mary's, 91-70.

The Blackbirds punched their ticket to their third straight NCAA tournament.

Senior LIU guard, C.J. Garner had 31 points to lead all scorers. Four seniors in the LIU lineup played in front of their home crowd for the last time.
