CANARSIE - Police are investigating the robbery of a livery cab driver that happened early Saturday morning in Canarsie.

According to police, the driver picked up the two suspects on Atlantic Avenue and drove them to Canarsie. The suspects got out of the cab at East 106th and Farragut Road and robbed the driver at gunpoint. Police say they stole money and the driver's phone.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
