GREENPOINT - Local teens are helping to design space and plant trees in an effort to revamp Lentol community garden.

The Greenpoint YMCA, New York University and a $150,000 gift from Exxon Mobil helped to create the program.

Out of 200 applicants, only 10 teens were chosen for the pilot program taking place at Meeker and Graham avenues.
