BROOKLYN - Freezing rain and sleet have already made its way through portions of the borough.

News 12 Meteorologist Stacy-Ann Gooden says the nor'easter is zeroing in on the borough, with high winds, rain and snow.

Gooden says the storm will deliver a one-two punch beginning with high winds, rain and possible coastal flooding in some areas today. There will be a mix of snow and rain overnight, with less than an inch of accumulation by tomorrow morning.

A coastal flooding watch is in effect until 2 a.m. Thursday, and a wind advisory is in effect until Thursday at 6 p.m.

A coastal flooding advisory is also in effect until Thursday at 5 a.m.

There will be periods of snow and rain overnight with temperatures around 33 degrees.

Thursday will have a high of 39 degrees, with periods of snow and showers.
