BROOKLYN - A Bay Ridge-based pet adoption agency has teamed up with other local organizations to find homes for dozens of animals in need.

A mobile adoption unit filled with four-legged friends of all ages barked and meowed its way to Bay Ridge, looking for good homes to go to.

The adoptable pets are provided by the North Shore Animal League and other local rescue groups.

This is the 60th event held by "Love Wanted" in the past nine years. Nearly 2,000 pets have found new owners because of it.

Their goal is for the bus containing the cats and dogs to be empty by the time the operation has ended.
