WILLIAMSBURG - Police are looking for a man accused of attempting to break in to a 73-year-old woman's Brooklyn apartment while she was home.

The incident happened on March 27, inside an apartment building on Keap Street in Williamsburg.

Police say the suspect placed his thumb over the peephole of the woman's door while he unlocked it.

However, when he opened the door, and saw the 73-year-old woman and another woman inside of the home, police say the suspect shut the door and ran away.

He was last seen wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt, a dark-colored jacket, black pants and black and white sneakers.
