BROOKLYN - The man behind the wheel in a fatal drunken driving crash is facing serious charges.

Police say 23-year-old Anel Kolenovik struck the car of Brooklyn Yeshiva teacher Moshe Berkovitz while drunk in November. Berkovitz, 25, died in the crash.

Police say Kolenovik ran a red light at the corner of Ocean Avenue and Avenue N at time of the incident. Prosecutors have charged the Brooklyn man with drunken driving, vehicular manslaughter and homicide.

If convicted, he faces 25 years in prison.
