BROOKLYN - Police say a Hasidic man was punched in the face in East Flatbush but managed to catch one of the men he says assaulted him.

Officials say the man was driving a forklift on Brooklyn Avenue near Fenimore Street when two men approached him.

Police say the pair asked him for the time and then one of the men punched him in the face.

The victim says he chased the suspects and caught one after they ran away, holding him down until police arrived.

Authorities identified the suspect as 17-year-old Tarek Michel.

Police are still searching for the second suspect.
