Man claiming to have bomb tries to rob Pay-O-Matic in Bed-Stuy

BROOKLYN - Police are after a man suspected of trying to rob a check cashing store in Bed-Stuy. 

Investigators released surveillance photos of the suspect, who they say went into a Pay-o-Matic on Fulton Street last Wednesday and passed a note to a teller that said he had a bomb. 

The employee refused to hand over any money, and the man took off empty handed. 

He's believed to be between 20 and 25 years old, and 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build.
