GRAVESEND - Investigators say a driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the front of a Laundromat Wednesday morning, sending one woman to the hospital.

According to police, the elderly man behind the wheel accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, sending his car into the front of the building on Stillwell Avenue.

The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Police allowed the man to drive himself home after the incident.
