BROOKLYN - A man is clinging to life after being shot in the torso and neck in East New York.

Police say the shooting happened at around 9 a.m. in front of 507 Sheffield Ave. Surveillance video shows the suspected gunman, wearing a hooded red shirt, run up behind two people walking on the street and opening fire. The suspect then takes off in a vehicle.

The victim was rushed to Brookdale Hospital and is in critical condition. No arrests have been made yet.
