Man dies after drive-by shooting in Brooklyn

Police say a man was killed in a drive-by shooting Monday in Brooklyn.

BROOKLYN - Police say a man was killed in a drive-by shooting Monday in Brooklyn.

They say Elijah Benjamin, 22, was found unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his chest. Officials say the shooting happened on Avenue I and East 34th Street in Flatlands around 1 a.m. 

Police say Benjamin was approached by a red sedan when the occupants inside opened fire on him. He was then transported to Kings County Hospital, where police say he was pronounced dead. 

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
