BROOKLYN - Cops say a man was crushed and killed today by subway panels that he was taking off a truck in Brooklyn.

Officials say he died while working on a subway station rehabilitation project at Chestnut Avenue and East 15th Street.

An MTA spokesperson says the victim worked for a contractor and was not an MTA employee.

The accident is still under investigation.
