Man killed in hit-and-run crash on Meeker Avenue in Williamsburg

BROOKLYN - A man is dead after falling victim to an early morning hit-and-run crash.

It happened on Meeker Avenue, between Frost Street and Manhattan Avenue, in Williamsburg just before 4 a.m.

Police say that officers arrived to find a 32-year-old Hispanic man with head injuries lying on the road. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital and pronounced dead.

Investigators determined that the man was struck by a vehicle. No arrests have been made.
