Man shot during baby shower at Excelsior Yacht Club in Gravesend

A 23-year-old man was wounded when shots rang out at a baby shower in Gravesend over the weekend. According to police, the victim was leaving

BROOKLYN - A 23-year-old man was wounded when shots rang out at a baby shower in Gravesend over the weekend. 

According to police, the victim was leaving the party at Excelsior Yacht Club on Shore Parkway Saturday night when he was hit in the left elbow. They say between two and four bullets were fired. 

The man was rushed to Coney Island Hospital and is expected to be OK. 

Investigators say it's not clear if the victim was the intended target, and no arrests have been made.
