WILLIAMSBURG - Police say they are searching for clues after a man was gunned down inside a Williamsburg deli as he was buying coffee.

The incident occurred around 10:15 a.m. Monday at 345 Flushing Ave. EMS says the victim was in his 30s and was sent to Bellevue Hospital with three gunshot wounds to the torso and one to the face. His condition is unknown.

The deli clerk says the shooting was not a robbery and that the gunman walked in to shoot his victim and then fled. He says the victim was a regular customer.
