A man was hospitalized after being shot in Brooklyn, police say.

BROOKLYN - A man was hospitalized after being shot in Brooklyn, police say.

Police say they received a ShotSpotter alert on Linden Boulevard near the 67th Precinct and discovered a man with a gunshot wound.

They say he was transported to Kings County Hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening. 

Police say they don't know why the man was shot or who shot him.

No arrests have been made.
