Man stabbed outside Duane Reade at Sunset Park's Fifth Avenue Street Fair

BROOKLYN - A fun neighborhood celebration turned violent after a stabbing in Sunset Park.

According to police, three suspects stabbed a 23-year-old man when a fight broke out during the Fifth Avenue Street Fair. It happened right outside Duane Reade at around 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The pharmacy's supervisor called the police after the victim came into the store. She says nothing like this has happened at the annual event before.

The victim's identity has not been released, and he remains in critical condition at Lutheran Medical Center. A second man was also taken to the hospital after being injured during the altercation.

No arrests have been made.
