BROOKLYN - Cops are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted an officer in Downtown Brooklyn.

According to police, officers were trying to arrest the man at the Hoyt-Fulton subway station on Jan. 17 after a suspected robbery attempt.

They say he punched one cop in the face and pushed him down a flight of stairs. The officer sustained multiple injuries, but is OK.

Investigators released two surveillance images of the suspect, who is described as being about 6 feet tall and 190 pounds.
