BROOKLYN - Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a suspect wanted for an attempted rape and robbery from earlier this week.

Police say the suspect grabbed a woman from behind near 275 Webster Ave. on Tuesday morning. He allegedly demanded money and attempted to rape her, but fled when she resisted.

He's described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 27 and 32 and stands at around 6 feet tall.

Anyone with information that could help police is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
