BROWNSVILLE - Police are investigating a Monday morning shooting in Brownsville that they say could be a murder-suicide.

According to police, John Butler, 43, and Nicole Griffin, 36, were both found with gunshot wounds to the head in an apartment at 896 Park Ave. Police say Butler was also shot in the chest.

Neighborhood residents say the sight of police tape is a common occurrence in the neighborhood.

"It doesn't surprise me," says Evelyn Sanchez.
