Manhattan Beach braces for Hurricane Irene

BROOKLYN - As powerful Hurricane Irene barrels up the East Coast, low-lying parts of the borough like Manhattan Beach are bracing for the worst.

Residents of the area have been ordered to evacuate by 5 p.m. tomorrow.
