Manufacturer of Four Loko agrees to stop shipping to New York

BROOKLYN - Four Loko alcoholic energy drinks will no longer be sold in New York.

The New York Liquor Authority stated Saturday night that the state?s largest beer distributors have agreed to stop selling the caffeinated drinks. A voluntary agreement has been made with Four Loko's producers to stop shipping the beverage by next Friday. Distributors have until Dec. 10 to clear their inventory.
