Marine Park high school students urged to take SAT prep course at library

MARINE PARK - Students at a Marine Park high school are getting useful tips on how to survive the college application process stress-free with flying colors.

Speakers are giving the students advice on matters ranging from preparation to timeliness. Counselors say applicants should research schools to find the best fit for themselves, gather letters of recommendation, prepare essays ahead of time for private universities, meet deadlines and take SAT prep courses.

Free SAT classes are being held at several branches of the Brooklyn Public Library.
