Pope Francis declared Mother Teresa a saint on Sunday, praising the tiny nun for having taken in society's most unwanted and for having shamed world leaders for the "crimes of poverty they themselves created." (9/4/16)

VATICAN CITY - Catholics flocked to churches on Sunday to honor Pope Francis declaring Mother Teresa a saint.

A Mass honoring the new saint was held at Our Lady of Victory in Brooklyn.

A new statue of Saint Teresa was blessed inside the church.
