Mayor Bill de Blasio promises improved snow response
NEW YORK - Mayor Bill de Blasio is promising that the city will have a better response to the next snowstorm.
The mayor faced heavy criticism after this week's snowfall from people who complained that some neighborhoods were not plowed as effectively as others, specifically Manhattan's Upper East Side.
He acknowledged during another news conference Friday that there were flaws in the city’s cleanup efforts, but vowed to learn from the mistakes made.
