BROOKLYN - A skit performed by Mayor Bill de Blasio and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is receiving harsh criticism.

The two performed a joke at the Inner Circle dinner Saturday. The racially charged joke based on a stereotype regarding African-Americans running late.

De Blasio defended the joke on a CNN appearance Monday night. He said, "Hillary Clinton and Leslie Odom Jr. thought it was a joke on a different convention so I think people are missing the point here."

Some Brooklyn residents said they found the joke offensive while others said they don't see what the big deal is.
