Mayor Bill de Blasio signed legislation Thursday to expand paid sick leave to companies with at least five employees.

The mayor opted to sign his first bill into law at Steve's Craft Ice Cream in Williamsburg rather than at City Hall. He wanted to use the business as an example of a booming business that already offers their workers paid sick days.
