BROOKLYN - To prepare for his transition to City Hall, mayor-elect Bill de Blasio has announced two key appointments today.
De Blasio has chosen Alicia Glen to be his deputy mayor of Housing and Economic Development. She is currently the Head of Urban Investment at Goldman Sachs.
Laura Santucci has been picked to be de Blasio's chief of staff. She previously served as acting executive director of the Democratic National Committee.

There is no word yet on who de Blasio will pick to replace Dennis Walcott as chancellor of schools.
