BROOKLYN - Mayor Michael Bloomberg has released the city's first criminal justice system performance report.

Bloomberg says he hopes it will provide insight into the functioning of the system and how it's changing. The results show major crime among adults and juveniles is declining, and a dramatic reduction in school crimes.

Brooklyn stood out as sending the most criminal defendants to drug treatment courts.
