BRIGHTON BEACH - A mayoral forum focusing on Sandy recovery was held in Brighton Beach on Thursday.

Candidates discussed their ideas on flood prevention, improving the city's infrastructure and safely rebuilding.

All mayoral candidates were invited to the forum, but only seven - Bill DeBlasio, John Liu, John Catsimatidis, Sal Albanese, Erik Salgado, George McDonald and Adolfo Carrion - showed up.

Each candidate gave a five-minute speech addressing what they'd do to aid Sandy recovery if elected. A question and answer session with the candidates followed.
