BROOKLYN - Community leaders rallied together to denounce violence in response to the brutal brawl involving several teenagers at a Flatbush McDonald's.

They say the issue of violence continues to grow in the area. They are calling on Mayor Bill de Blasio to step in and work with them to remedy the problem.

The community leaders rallied in front of the McDonald's, hoping their cries for help are heard by de Blasio. They say they reached out to him several times, but his office has not returned their calls.

The attack occurred at the fast-food giant's Flatbush Avenue location more than two weeks ago. It was caught on cellphone video and the footage went viral. The six attackers have since been arrested and are facing various assault charges.
