Medical examiner rules death of BK jazz musician a homicide

BROWNSVILLE - A medical examiner ruled the death of a well-known Brooklyn jazz musician a homicide today.

Police say they found 61-year-old Stanley Wright stuffed inside a storage trunk in the basement of his Brownsville home yesterday. Wright's family says he was last seen by a neighbor in front of his home on Friday.

The medical examiner said Wright died from stab wounds to his neck and torso.

The family says it is in the process of making funeral arrangements.
