Men accused in cop's fatal shooting back in court

BROOKLYN - Police officers arrived in droves at Brooklyn's Supreme Court today as the five defendants charged in the fatal shooting of police officer Peter Figoski appeared before a judge.

Officer Figoski was shot when the men allegedly tried to rob a suspected drug dealer in Cypress Hills.

One of the defendant's attorney's made accusations of foul play today because a newspaper reporter was able to interview one of the men, despite the fact that the attorney said no one was supposed to talk to him.

The defendants next court date is scheduled for Dec. 20. Grand jury to discuss shooting of police officer in Brooklyn
