BROOKLYN - The Long Island University men's basketball team sought revenge Monday on its rival Saint Francis Brooklyn.

Fans were ecstatic for the long-awaited basketball game and shared their thoughts on the age-old rivalry.

"The rivalry has been going on for a long time. These are always great games that go on between us two teams and I come check out these games every year," said St. Francis alumni, Darrius Marcellin.

Long Island University came out on top with a 82-67 victory over Saint Francis.
