BROOKLYN - Police are searching for a group of young men who allegedly destroyed NYCHA security cameras, but not without being caught on video.

According to authorities, four men used a cane to smash two NYPD Viper cameras at the Carey Gardens Houses in Coney Island. It happened at around 1 a.m. Sunday.

Investigators released surveillance images of the suspects, who are all described as black males, believed to be in their late teens or early 20s.

Cops say the broken cameras are in front of 2945 West 23rd St., which is one of three buildings in the NYCHA complex.

Anyone who recognizes them or has other information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
