PARK SLOPE - The city is electric as the Mets make it into the World Series.

Mets gear is flying off the shelves as fans show off their team pride.

Modell's in Park Slope stayed opened until 1:30 a.m. after the game Thursday and reopened at 5:30 a.m. so fans could get their official Mets merchandise, including the shirts that players wore during Wednesday night's game.

"It's just been a long time coming and I don't know, it's still unbelievable, I'm black and blue from punching myself," says Mets fan Mary Anderson

Modell's in Park Slope will be open until 10 p.m. Thursday for fans who want official Mets pennant gear.
