Missing 12-year-old Shawn Martinez, of East New York, found in good health

EAST NEW YORK - Officials say that a 12-year-old from East New York who had been missing since the Fourth of July has been found.

The adoptive mother of Shawn Martinez said that he went to a store to get milk on Thursday and never returned home.

The statewide alert for his search has since been canceled. Officials say he was found in good health and good condition.

Police sources say that the boy was with his biological mother, who does not have custody.
