BROOKLYN - After a night of frantically searching for their loved one, a family found their disabled son in a Brooklyn parking lot.

Police say the 22-year-old special needs student was left on a bus in the parking lot overnight. The family says Ed Rivera apparently went unnoticed by the driver and an aide.

Rivera suffered from hypothermia and is recovering at Brookdale Hospital.

The driver is being questioned, and police say criminal charges may be filed.
