Missing mother with dementia found in hospital

BROOKLYN - A missing mother with dementia and Alzheimer's disease has been reunited with her family after a hospital worker saw her photo on News 12 yesterday.

Francisca Silva Sanchez, 51, was last seen Tuesday morning on Malcom X Avenue. She was brought to the emergency room at Long Island College Hospital on Wednesday after police found her disoriented and uncommunicative.

Family and friends say they are relieved she was found. Hospital workers say Sanchez is alert and doing very well.
