CANARSIE - Nearly 48 hours after a Canarsie man reported his parrot was missing, the two were reunited.

Truman, a 4-year-old Cape parrot, flew off Monday morning while his owner Michael Sazhin had him in a Bensonhurst park.

Sazhin took to social media and his YouTube page in an effort to find the bird.

Vaughn Lloyd was playing video games in his apartment when he heard a bird outside his window. He managed to capture Truman and post his picture on Facebook, which eventually led him to the bird's owner.

Sazhin says he will give Lloyd the reward he had been offering. He also said that he will not be clipping Truman’s wings, but he will keep a closer eye on the bird.
