Missing student with Down syndrome found

BROOKLYN - The family of a missing student with Down syndrome is looking for answers after he was found in Queens Wednesday.

Eighteen-year-old Akeedo Nyron Fisher went missing from the Brooklyn Transition Center school Tuesday. He was found at a bus stop in Bayside, Queens Wednesday. Doctors at the North Shore University Hospital on Long Island say he is fine.

Fisher told his relatives that he rode many subways and spent the night outside.

Fisher's family and the NYPD are investigating why he didn't make it home and where he went.
