Mom: School aides caused son's beating

BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn mother is calling for a criminal investigation after she says her son was beaten up by a bully because of school aides.

The mother of 10-year-old Tyreik Bower says on Feb. 5, two aides at the Parkway School assigned a bully to break up a fight between her son and a female student, resulting in her son being beaten.

In a statement, Principal Marc Mardy says the aides involved in the incident were suspended for two days, and two others are facing disciplinary action.
