BROOKLYN - A mother claims kindergarten bullies are tormenting her daughter at P.S. 161 by punching her and cutting her hair.

Yvonne Lovings says the problems began in October, shortly after her 5-year-old daughter, Jazmin, started school.

Lovings thinks her daughter is being harassed because of a speech delay.

"It makes me upset that my daughter is going to school to try to get an education and they do this to her," says Lovings.

The school principal denies the allegations. The Department of Education is investigating.

Lovings says she will keep her daughter home until she has a meeting with the teacher and principal.
