BROOKLYN - Children were treated to an early Halloween last night at the annual Monster Mash, held at the Brooklyn Children's Museum.

The fundraiser featured a scavenger hunt, scary story telling and a parade. A costumed DJ was also on-hand for the dance party.

Melissa McAteer, the museum's vice president, says the event is a great way to introduce children to the museum. All the proceeds from the party fund the museum's programs and exhibits.
