More than 150 soldiers returned home to family and loved ones in Brooklyn and the rest of the state today after almost nine months of

BROOKLYN - More than 150 soldiers returned home to family and loved ones in Brooklyn and the rest of the state today after almost nine months of service in Iraq.

The soldiers are part of the New York Army National Guard's 442nd Military Police Company. The unit conducted more than 400 partnered missions with Iraqi law enforcement.

The unit also served at Ground Zero following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
