BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - A man has been hospitalized after being hit by a car while riding his motorcycle.

Police say the accident happened Friday at Greene and Lewis avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant. They add that a 40-year-old man was taken to Kings County Hospital with a leg injury.

Witnesses at the scene say the driver of the car fled the scene.

The man's condition is currently unknown.
